Sperasoft and Ubisoft presents co-development success story at BIG Festival 2018
USA, San Jose – May 31, 2018 – Sperasoft senior director of production, Alan Van Slyke, and Ubisoft Montreal project manager Isabelle Bismuth will present at Brazil’s Independent Games Festival 2018. The presentation will showcase the success story of their recent co-development engagement. The speakers will demonstrate how two companies successfully worked together on Assassin’s Creed Origins.
In close collaboration with the Ubisoft development team based in Montreal, Sperasoft took complete ownership of the Wildlife feature, working on its AI, behavior, and animation. The presentation will start from a business perspective and explain how the companies established their partnership, what kind of challenges they encountered and will show best practices from the three phases of the project: initiation, execution, and landing. This session will also demonstrate the specific challenges associated with working in co-development on an “Open World” game.
